This song (and it’s silly name) is an adaptation of “The Saga of Harrison Crabfeathers” (an equally silly name) by Steve Kuhn. It was the name in the fake book index that initially piqued my interest but the chord changes that kept me calling it on the gig. I wanted to keep the chord changes in my life but play them over something a little different so I took the chord changes and set a new melody in a new feel and voila! "Green Is My Favourite Colour, Butch!” was born.
