One day, during those three months of the BP Oil Spill in 2010, I saw a news headline with a photo of the pipe spewing oil into the Gulf of Mexico. The image reminded me of a volcanic eruption. It also made me think of the CEO of BP spewing words as he spread the blame and shifted the burden of responsibility for solving the problem and covering the damage from his company.
