Riding in my car I didn't get to far Riding in my car I didn't get to far A little voice behind me A little voice inside A little voice behind me A little voice inside She said, "music is home" She said, "music is home" She said, "music is home" She said, "music is home" I didn't understand where that thought began I didn't understand where that thought began Asked her for the meaning Asked he what it meant Asked her for the meaning Asked he what it meant She said, "music is home" She said, "music is home" She said, "music is home" She said, "music is home" I had to write it down and put it to a sound I had to write it down and put it to a sound A little thought my daughter a thought that make me cry A little thought my daughter a thought that make me cry She said, "music is home" She said, "music is home" She said, "music is home" She said, "music is home"

Another ordinary day in an ordinary world... (Is this town like any other?) An extraordinary boy about to let it all unfold… (Is his plan like any other?) But this one isn't well and no one else could tell. He's invisible to girls. He's gonna make it hell! He's gonna make it hell. But this day is like any other, cause... It's Aurora twice a day. It's Aurora twice a day. It's Aurora twice a day. (Don't let your body be ripped to shreds!) It's Aurora twice a day. What's an ordinary day when twice as many are shot down? (Does it really happen daily?) No one cries and no one prays unless it could have been their town, in the suburbs by a crazy. But everyday is hell for twenty five who fell at the barrel of some fun. The system isn't well! No politicians tell that this day is like any other, cause... It's Aurora twice a day. It's Aurora twice a day. It's Aurora twice a day. (Don't let your body be ripped to shreds!) It's Aurora twice a day. (Just an ordinary day)

Disconnected 04:13
Sometimes I feel all alone when everyone's around. They're lips are moving on their own and I barely hear a sound. Sometimes I just wish I could make things move at my own pace, so I won't feel all alone in our little human race. Feeling disconnected now! You got your common ground. Why can't I get into this? Feeling disconnected now! You got your common ground. Why can't I get I to this? I may not look like much now, but I'll be the sexiest one in the funeral parlour home, as they lay my body down. Sometimes I just wish Daddy fired blanks that fateful day, so I won't feel all alone with nothing left to say. Feeling disconnected now! You got your common ground. Why can't I get into this?

I can't do nothing for you now, cause you've gone and played the fool with yourself. I can't feel nothing for you now, cause you've gone and made a fool of everyone. Don't try to realize it. Don't try to verbalize it. Just check yourself. You said, "It's all been done before." If that's the case, then what's the point in going on? You're stealing someone else's show. It's not your place. It's not your joint. The show goes on. Don't set your sites on me now. Don't try to take from me now. Just check yourself. Everything is gonna turn out right this time. It's better just to let it go, than follow someone else'a flow. Everything is gonna turn out right this time, if you let go of your fear and keep it positive each year. I can't do nothing for you now, cause you've gone and played the fool with yourself. I can't feel nothing for you now, cause you've gone and made a fool of everyone. Don't try to realize it. Don't try to verbalize it. Just check yourself. Everything is gonna turn out right this time. It's better just to let it go, than follow someone else'a flow. Everything is gonna turn out right this time. Everything is gonna turn out right this time. Everything is gonna turn out right this time. Once you let go of this place, you can find a different space. Everything is gonna turn out right this time. Everything is gonna turn out right this time.

about

For almost 20 years, we have had the privilege of playing music we love for enthusiastic audiences, melding our diverse influences into a tasty musical gumbo. We have been blessed with the opportunity to play with some outstanding musicians, all of whom have contributed to the evolution of the Voodoo Jazz sound and this, our fourth album, stands on their shoulders. We are proud to continue to make music that moves. Enjoy!

about

Voodoo Jazz Montreal, Québec

The bad boys of the Montreal Jazz scene are back, with the simple mission to deliver the Groove, right to your ear holes! No compromises, no excuses, no apologies. With the unequaled Joe on voice & guitar, the subtle Christian on drums, the slick chick magnet Phillip on bass, the uncontrollable alto & tenor player Jesse and the tender-heart brute, Alex on tenor and baritone saxes. ... more
